"I am a qualified mechanical engineer, but as a child I was always a car fanatic. Cars were all that mattered. Since the age of about 13 my passion has been classic cars. When I was 15 I bought a dilapidated, non-running MG Midget and rebuilt it, and that started a life of classic cars.

The most fulfilling thing to us is 'rescuing' a classic car from where it sits deteriorating, and getting it to the next owner who will restore it and bring it back to the road.
Many people want to restore a car and do as much as possible themselves. This is entirely feasible with the general information freely available nowadays, and gives an immense feeling of satisfaction.
It also means the car is finished to your very own specification.

Classic Car Restoration Projects for Sale
Citroen CX Projects
I have been made aware by the owner of two projects for sale, along with a spares car (albeit incomplete) and other various parts.
One is a 1980 CX 2000 Athena and the other is a 1981 2400 Pallas injection.
These cars have been in his barn for some considerable years, but I'm told it is a dry barn which has helped preserved them.
They are located in Herefordshire.
They are offered at what I would say is a very fair price.

Pininfarina Spider, 1984, for restoration/recommissioning.
This is a Spider from the last two years of production, hence was badged a Pininfarina Azzurra.
It was imported from Italy by its current owner 10 years ago. It has a UK registration document.
The odometer shows 43,731km, but of course it’s possible this has already gone around once previously.
The floors, inner sills, bonnet, bootlid, area under the rear seat base, boot corners and chassis legs appear to be in good condition with very little or no rust.
The sill lower flanges are solid but rusty however the MOT history shows no mention of corrosion.
The last MOT expired in November 2021.
There is some micro-blistering of the paint in places, but presents very well in its metallic blue paint nevertheless.
Generally, this car would ideally benefit from some body restoration, but doesn’t appear to be excessively rusty.
Interior in generally good condition, dashboard has a crack on the top surface.
Mechanically, it starts and runs but will not idle. Brakes are not seized.

SC stands for 'Super Carrera' as the SC was
to be the last 911 before the 928 took over
as the flagship model.
